Lister Mill, Bradford - an example of Bradford's textile heritage being re-developed for 21st century use.

Bradford is one of the 12 largest cities in Britain. It is made up of the City and the towns of Shipley, Keighley, Bingley and Ilkley.

It is multicultural; 22% of the population are from black minority ethnic (BME) groups; this includes the Pakistani population. Recently, there has also been a significant migration of Eastern European communities into the district.

Many of the city's historical buildings are fascinating and reflect its textile heritage. It has a great deal of culture to offer, including the award winning National Media Museum, three film festivals, the Bradford Mela, plus a huge choice of restaurants offering food from around the world.

Sixteen churches make up the Bradford Area of the YBA. A wide geographical area is represented here including churches as far afield as Guiseley (which actually has a Leeds postcode!) and Buttershaw.

Please look at the individual church entries for further information.
