With a history going back to the evangelists Crosley and Mitchel of the late 17th century, the Craven Area churches are proud of their traditional of faith.
Set in an area that is largely rural and also contains the historical setting for the Bronte sisters and civil war struggles around Skipton castle, the churches seek to make Christian faith relevant for a modern generation. Many of the 11 churches are small, none are big and the largest is in the historic market town of Skipton.
