We are a traditional Yorkshire Chapel, serious but not solemn, re-inventing ourselves for
the 21st Century. Our worship is carefully structured but informal and the preaching is 
biblical. We sing hymns and a few contemporary songs from the World Church, Iona or
Celtic sources. There are alternative activities for children during part of the adult  service.

The building has access for wheelchair users, and a hearing loop.
Refreshments are served after each service, and once a month the morning service
is followed by a lunch for anyone who can stay.

We exercise our global responsibility by supporting the Baptist Missionary Society
and Christian Aid. We also have personal contacts with Haiti and Kosovo. Locally,
we provide monthly treats to the residents of nursing homes in the form of a social
gathering accompanied with professional entertainments at our church rooms.
We try to be an inclusive and welcoming church, and are always pleased to see
new faces in our congregation.
