church4u.... is a small group of like minded Christians who want to be in the community, expressing our faith through friendship, and being ready to answer questions when they arise. Our vision is simple - and we want to keep it that way!
In this new and exciting phase of our life, we have come under the umbrella of the YBA (and the Baptist Union of GB) to be part of something bigger. We have been very encouraged by the welcome and interest shown in us, and the freedom to follow our vision.
Meetings aren't our focus, but we do meet on Tuesday evenings in a home for teaching, prayer, worship, communion, food..... We also get together two Sundays per month; once in the morning for breakfast in a local cafe, once in the evening to talk things through. Events with friends and neighbours include a quiz night, BBQ, Christmas reflection, bonfire night party, evening walks, etc. A suite of rooms in the town as our base will, we hope enable us to develop very low key opportunties for people to think about Jesus and perhaps take steps towards a relationship with Him. Watch this space.... !
