Hope Baptist Church has provided a place of Christian worship in Hebden Bridge for over 200 years. Today, the church continues to open its doors on Sundays and other times during the week to meet the spiritual needs of all people in and around this beautiful part of the Upper Calder Valley.

Hope Baptist Church is planning to transform its buildings into a valuable community resource at the heart of the Hebden Bridge and called the John Fawcett Centre, which is:

rooted in Christian beliefs and concerned for the spiritual wellbeing of all
a safe place for reflection, discussion, worship and spiritual development
a variety of spaces that bring people together and help to build community
