We are a friendly and welcoming church located in the village of Golcar in the hills west of Huddersfield. With provision for children of all ages, a mixture of traditional and modern worship and a focus on prayer and biblical teaching, you will be made very welcome if you choose to join us as a one-off or if you are looking for a church in which to settle.
Serving Golcar for over 170 years, Golcar Baptist Church has seen many changes and still remains an active group at the heart of the local community. We have very good relationships with the other local churches.
Sunday service at 10.30am includes communion on the third Sunday of the month.
Weekly prayer meeting at 2pm on Wednesday is open to all

We can cater for wheelchair and Braille users; advanced notice may be required
The main sanctuary has a hearing loop installed
We also host a toddlers group, Slimming World meeting and Golcar Brass Band
