Mexborough Baptist Church has a very active congregation of 20 adults, with a Junior Church of 7 children.  After almost three years without a Pastor, Denise Lancaster was recently Inducted bringing about a sense of joy and awe that we are entering a new season in our Lord's planning.

We are a community Church seeking to bring God's light into a diverse community,
through worship and outreach, our Mission Statement is 'To go and make disciples...'.  Activities include - Brownies, Beavers, Cubs and Scout groups, gentle over 50s exercise group, Avalunch provides meals to the house-bound three days a week and an inhouse cafe on a Wednesday provides a subsidised lunch to all. We meet for Sunday worship at 10.30am, are developing a small worship group, with as many people as possible involved in the service.

We are excited for the future as we see God's hand so vividly guiding us and sit in wonder at what our Lord has planned for this area of His Kingdom.
