Executive
The YBA Executive Group is the key decision making body acting on behalf of the 112 member churches of the Association. Executive Group members act as Trustees accountable to the member churches, and also as Directors of the Company. All major strategic decisions are taken by the Executive including issues which are referred from the Ministry, Mission and Trust groups.
Key discussion topics from recent Executive agendas have included:
- The YBA Family Day & AGM
- A review of the Executive and how it can continue to develop into the future
- The setting up of a Finance Review Group to support the work of the Hon Treasurer and report to the Executive Group
- Accepting and agreeing the Financial Statements, Accounts and Annual Report of the Association for 2007
- Considering reports from the Ministry, Mission and Trust groups
- Approving future Budgets for Association expenditure
- Considering possible ways forward for YBA Youth Work
- Agreeing a new way of supporting trust work within the YBA by working with the Baptist Union Corporation
