National Youth Ministry Weekend

YOUTH workers in Baptist churches are invited to the National Youth Ministry Weekend, being organised by Youthscape from November 10th to 12th 2017 in Birmingham.

Ellie Blackley, who attends Stopsley Baptist Church, Luton, is working for Youthscape over the summer before returning to university.

Youth Ministry Weekend LogoShe writes: "The National Youth Ministry Weekend is the gathering point for Christians who work with young people, and a chance to hear new ideas, receive inspiration, pray, network and get creative. It is a weekend of talks, worship, seminars and time to make new friends: it is for everyone involved in church youth work! Check out the link for more information - click here.

"The weekend is running from 10th to 12th November 2017 in Birmingham. Being in Birmingham, it is a prime location for all youth workers across the country with its amazing transport links and city facilities. We are even running airport shuttles, if that is your transport of choice!

"We believe that all youth workers would benefit from the weekend - it is easy for us to say, but it is a unique event with world-renowned speakers and worship leaders. The ticket price is heavily subsidised, and we have provisions in place for those who may struggle with accommodation costs etc. Children are welcome, and we even have discounts with local restaurants and cafes!

"I really think the weekend could help inspire and grow the youth work that Baptist churches do, and I don't want anyone to discover the weekend post-event and wish they had heard of it before!"
