"Living Hopefully"

HopefulREGIONAL Minister the Revd Mary Taylor writes: "Living Hopefully - surely, you might say, this just depends on our circumstances? But hope is more than our reaction to circumstances; it is a response to the promises of God.
"Think of Jesus in Gethsemane. He did not desire the suffering He knew was coming but trusted that God’s will was good and that His hope was totally justified. Our Christian hope is that God is at work making peace, especially in situations of pain and conflict.
"Every day we are called to believe that the Holy Spirit is at work, and that all kinds of creativity can break loose – if we pray trustingly and vulnerably open ourselves to the Spirit’s work. When fears and doubts fill our minds today, let’s choose to live hopefully and pray trustingly. 
"Sing today: My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus's blood and righteousness - click here."
