Exploring Church Planting

Time to sow seeds for the Kingdom
Church planting logoA personal message
from Revd Dr Clive Burnard

WOULD you like to come and join me on an Exploring Church Planting course? I’m praying for FIFTEEN people to contact me – people who are open to discovering what church planting might look like today. It’s not about recruiting people to a church plant nor seeking to start new churches – rather to introduce key themes that are central to church planting today and ignite your passion.
(watch Clive's short video here)
The course, organised by St Hild Centre for Church Planting in partnership with the YBA, will provide you with:

  • an understanding of modern church planting and the rationale for starting new churches;
  • an awareness of some of the models of church planting and types of church plant;
  • some basic church planting resources;
  • examples from church history that are encouraging and inspiring and stretch our stereotypes;
  • several church planting practitioners who represent a variety of models and types ;
  • an overview of what’s needed to be involved in a future church plant.

The course will be delivered via Zoom over five sessions, each lasting no more than 90 minutes (7.30pm to 9 pm) and will include teaching, an historic case-study, a current case-study and application through breakout group discussion and questions and answers. You will receive pre-session teaching material to read or watch and post-session material for follow on application.

The course starts on Wednesday, 21st April, 2021, and runs for 5 weeks. Will you join me?
If so, get in touch with Joolz Walker by email - click here. She will give you the Eventbrite link and if you respond by April 12th, she will give you a code so you can book in for FREE.

You can read more information on the St Hild website (https://sthildplanting.org/exploring) but I will be in touch with you, personally as soon as I hear from you through Joolz.
