Four Baptisms in Huddersfield

Over at Lockwood Baptist Church, Huddersfield, four people were baptised on November 28th 2021.

The service was led by the Revd Brian Walters, who takes up the story: "We had the joy of baptising two Iranians who have been granted asylum - Farhang and his wife, Azadeh - alongside Leah and Ben, who have both attended Lockwood since birth. Leah’s uncle, Sean, should also have been baptised on the same day but was delayed on his return from holiday in Sri Lanka. He will be baptised early in the New Year.

The baptisms were carried out by Ruth (Sean’s mother and Leah’s grandma) and David (Sean’s uncle and Ben’s stepdad). It was quite a family affair! Sadly, the next day Farhang and Azadeh moved to London for work but have found a new home church."
