Chapel Allerton Baptist Church Welcomes New Minister

Sunday 21st September 2025 was a day of celebration at Chapel Allerton Baptist Church as the fellowship gathered to welcome their new Minister, Natalie Hughes.

The induction service, led by Revd Graham Ensor, Regional Minister with the YBA, was filled with joy and thanksgiving. Visitors travelled from Portsmouth and Southend to share in the occasion, and local churches also came together to show their support.

One of the most moving moments of the service came as covenant promises were made, a beautiful expression of shared commitment between Natalie and the church. Children and young people also took part, leading prayers that added a heartfelt touch to the day, reminding everyone of the importance of every generation in the life of the church.

Afterwards, the celebration continued around the table with a delicious slow cooked curry lunch. The meal gave space for conversation, laughter and fellowship, rounding off a day that will be long remembered at Chapel Allerton.
