Cornerstone Baptist Church Welcomes New Minister

On Saturday, 20th September 2025, Cornerstone Baptist Church experienced a day of celebration and new beginnings as they officially welcomed Rev Aaron Elder as their Senior Minister. Joined by his wife Amy and their family, Aaron's induction was a heartfelt occasion that marked the start of a new chapter in the church's journey.

The service, led by Revd Dr Alex Harris, Regional Minister with the Yorkshire Baptist Association (YBA), was filled with gratitude and anticipation. Congregants gathered to witness the formal induction and to hear stories from Aaron and Amy's previous ministry at Oxgangs Community Church in Edinburgh. These shared experiences highlighted the couple's dedication to service and their journey of faith that led them to Cornerstone.

The event was not only a time of reflection but also an opportunity to unite two church communities. Members from Oxgangs Community Church joined in the celebration, strengthening the bonds of fellowship and sharing in the joy of this new beginning.
