Anna Chaplaincy Event at Beverley Minster

‍ ‍

Chris Larson is an Anna Chaplain and a trustee at Beverley Baptist Church. She kindly notified us of the following event on Wednesday 4th November:

An Anna Chaplaincy event is being held in Beverley Minster Parish Rooms, from 10:00 to15:30, is aimed at all those who have an interest in older peoples’ ministry.

The day offers an introduction to understanding the needs of those in later life, how to offer spiritual and religious care, and how the church can support this ministry.  The programme also includes reflections from Church Leaders, Beneficiaries, and Anna Chaplains, time to look at your local context, and a choice of workshops - including Care Home ministry, dementia Inclusive worship, and creative activities in green spaces.  The event is free of charge but it is essential to sign up as places are limited.

If you are planning to drive, the best place to park for the event is in School Lane Car & Coach Park, HU17 0AJ, which is a 5 minute walk from the Minster. There is limited parking on site for Blue Badge holders. The Minster is also a short walk from the train station.

Should you need further details please email Chris here, or use this booking link.
