A Prayer Room and a Weekly Online Meditation

Sue and Philip Clements-Jewery have a prayer room available and also lead a weekly online meditation.

The Quarmby Upper Room

The Quarmby Upper Room is in Sue and Philip’s home in Huddersfield and is available to be booked for half or whole quiet days.

They are situated in north west Huddersfield with easy access from the town centre (off New Hey Road) and from M62 junctions 23 and 24. This snug room is accessed from the study via a sturdy pull-down wooden ladder. When a booking is made the study will not be in use and will be screened off.

The furnishings are soft and informal – a bean bag, large cushions. Bring your slippers! Heating is provided by a plug-in electric heater, and a tray with a kettle, cups, tea and coffee is available.

The bookcases contain a random selection of books on prayer and spirituality which have been accumulated over many decades, and which can be borrowed with permission.

Contact Sue or Philip for full details and to book a time slot (available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridat between 9.30 am and 4.00 pm: sue.clementsjewery@gmail.com / philip.clementsjewery@gmail.com
