YORKSHIRE BAPTIST ASSOCIATION & FRESH STREAMS DAY OF PRAYER & FASTING
After a great time together earlier in the year, we’re excited to join once again with Fresh Streams and other Associations from across our Baptist family for another Day of Prayer and Fasting on 25th September — once again, fully online. It’s a wonderful opportunity to unite nationally and regionally throughout the day in thanksgiving, worship, prayer, and intercession - all from a screen from the comfort of your own home or with others from your worshipping community. We are encouraged in James 5.16b (NLT) that: “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”
We’ll be praying, among other things, for:
Mission – that many would encounter Jesus and surrender their lives to follow Him.
God’s Kingdom to come – as we seek to be salt and light in our communities.
The Body of Christ – to rise up in boldness, witnessing daily and sharing the hope we have in Jesus.
Everyone Everywhere initiative – Seeking God’s heart for evangelism and discipleship.
The Quiet Revival – Romans 13:11 “The hour has come for you to wake from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.”
We’ll meet at:
9:00 - 10:00am
For national focussed prayer hosted by Fresh Streams. We’ll pray altogether and also with others from across our Baptist family in breakout rooms.
12:00-12:30pm
We will connect together as the YBA to pray for our churches as well as aspects of our Association life.
4:00pm - 4:30pm
For national focussed prayer hosted by Fresh Streams, we’ll pray altogether and also with others from across our Baptist family in breakout rooms.
7:00pm -7:45pm
We will again connect together as the YBA for prayer to pray for our churches and association life.
