YBA Ministers’ Conference 2026

We are delighted to invite you to the 2026 YBA Ministers’ Conference at Cober Hill, set on the beautiful east coast of Yorkshire.

This year’s theme, Growing Leaders and Making Disciples, will explore how we cultivate healthy leadership, strengthen discipleship, and work together in God’s mission across our association.

We are especially pleased to welcome Alan Donaldson as our main speaker. Before becoming General Secretary of the European Baptist Federation, Alan served the church in Scotland for over 30 years in a variety of leadership roles, including Youth Pastor, Senior Pastor, and General Director of the Baptist Union of Scotland. We are looking forward to benefiting from his wealth of pastoral and leadership experience as well as benefiting from his perspective shaped by serving the Baptist church across Europe.

We are also excited to welcome Kang-San Tan (General Director of BMS World Mission) and Loun Ling Lee (guest lecturer and former Editor of Lausanne Global Analysis), who will co-lead a session on Intercultural Leadership in Intercultural Churches — a timely and important conversation for today’s church.

The Ministers’ Conference remains a key moment in the YBA calendar. It is an opportunity to reconnect with one another, share fellowship, and be reminded of the bigger vision God is calling us to — making disciples by multiplying churches across Yorkshire.

As well as inspiring teaching and discussion, the conference offers space for rest, prayer, reflection, and meaningful connection with friends old and new in the peaceful surroundings of Cober Hill.
