An invitation

Scripture invites us to:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and do not rely on your own insight.
6 In all your ways acknowledge him,
    and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3.5-6 NRSV)

The YBA team has been making space and time to especially be with God through monthly prayer & fasting days.  Each month, we focus on praying into an aspect of the YBA vision or priorities, as well as for our churches and ministers/leaders.

Along with YBA trustees, we want to extend a warm invitation to you and members of your congregation to join our next virtual Prayer & Fasting day on Tuesday 9th June.  Our focus for prayer will be the appointment process for calling our new Regional Minister Team Leader.  We want to set time aside for prayer and fasting, to submit this process and season of fresh opportunity to the Lord, covering it all in prayer; that the Lord will lead us to whomever will enable the continuing health, flourishing and missional impetus of our association of churches and our leaders.

Whichever way you choose to pray and fast on that day, you are invited to two opportunities for virtual gathered prayer:

12 noon – our prayers will be held within the Northumbria Community prayer liturgy

5pm – our prayers will be free form/extempore

Each gathering will be for half an hour.  Whether you join in one or both prayer times, please arrive at least five minutes before the start time so we can exchange greetings and start promptly.
